As you squabble every unique second of time
asking yourself
if you feel like it, 
waiting
for enough inspiration before you act,
ask yourself
if Jesus waited to be inspired
before he walked amongst
snake disciples and blind elders.
Ask yourself if your savior needed
inspiration
before He wore His thorny crown like a wedding band
and took nails through His palms like
they were the tools He would use to pen His love letter
to mankind in blood.
Tell me
if my Messiah needed to wait for
inspiration
before He prayed,
and begged,
and wept,
and walked with a cross on his back
like a mother bearing the weight
of her helpless child.
