No.91: American Matrix

America is the greatest country in the world.
Land of the brave,
Home of the free,
Where my kin struggle to breathe--
It's too easy to choke,
So mama can't sleep,
Inner city can't dream,
Bodies colored in red,
Time covered in weed,
So money blown in smoke,
Up, up, and away,
Like predominantly white heroes,
And childhood goals,
And hopes of an A1 education without a lifetime of loans,
Going broke, just to learn,
Just to work for Joe, whose ancestors owned yours,
'Cause it's too much work to go own yours,
And it's too easy to spend what you don't have
On Michael Kors,
To impress niggas
You don't know,

We've been bamboozled.
